Ilôt Saint-Georges Féronstrée, 86
In a specially designed modern building, this museum presents an overall view of artistic production (sculpture and painting) in the French-speaking part of present-day Belgium, from the Renaissance onward. Artists of Liège naturally have pride of place, but they do not monopolize the exhibition rooms. The chronological arrangement makes for an easy and informative visit, taking you from the 16th century right up to the present day, through an exceptionally rich collection. The St. George room, on the ground floor, has become a hub of Liège culture as a result of the temporary exhibitions it houses.
